This project consists of encapsulating a small flower and gold leaf in clear resin to create elegant jewelry.

Material and tools:

Materials Tools:
Clear UV Resin UV/LED Lamp
2 Forget-Me-Not flowers (dried/pressed) Fine-point tweezers
Gold leaf (very small amount) Stick (or toothpick)
Teardrop/rhomboid mold Gloves
Earring hooks and jump rings.

Process:

1. Prepare the Base (Layer 1)

Pour a very thin layer of UV resin into the mold and cure it under the UV lamp for 60 seconds until it is firm.

2. Place the Embellishments (Layer 2)

Use the tweezers to carefully place the Forget-Me-Not flower centered over Layer 1. Add 1 or 2 fragments of gold leaf in a corner or next to the flower.

Pour a second thin layer of resin, just enough to cover and seal the embellishments.

Cure it under the UV lamp for 120 seconds.

3. Seal and Finish (Layer 3)

Pour the remaining UV resin until the mold is filled to the edge (you can create a slight dome if desired). Make sure no bubbles remain.

Cure it under the UV lamp for 180 seconds or more until the piece is completely hard, dry, and not sticky.

4. Assembly

Remove the piece from the mold.

Sand the edges if necessary.

Use the jump rings to connect the resin piece to the earring hook.

And that's it! Elegant jewelry ready.
