Remember when you watched a great anime without looking up from the screen, and suddenly, at its peak, they just stopped airing it? Here's a top 10 of gems you've probably been waiting for for more than three years. If not, don't waste any more time and join this unforgettable experience.
10. Btooom!
- Last Season: 2012
- Summary: In a survival game called Btooom!, players must use bombs to kill others while trying to survive on a deserted island. The protagonist, Ryouta, struggles to escape while unraveling the game's secrets.
- Reason for waiting: The lack of sustained success and a weak fanbase made a new season difficult. The manga didn't progress far enough to warrant a continuation.
- Reason for interest: The unique proposition of a "survival game" in which participants use bombs, along with unanswered questions about the game's origins, kept fans waiting.
9. Akame ga Kill!
- Last Season: 2014
- Summary: A group of assassins faces off against a corrupt empire ruling their world. Young Tatsumi joins them to avenge the deaths of his friends and change the injustice.
- Reason for waiting: The series adapted only part of the manga, and although the plot was finalized in the anime, fans have called for a more faithful adaptation of the manga, which remains very popular.
- Reason for interest: The intense action plot and focus on fighting tyranny with memorable characters, along with the differences between the anime and manga, keep fans waiting for a sequel.
8. High School of the Dead
- Last Season: 2010
- Summary: A group of high school students must survive a zombie apocalypse while facing the threat of the undead and the decay of society.
- Reason for waiting: The death of its creator, Daisuke Sato, in 2017 left the series on indefinite hiatus, and the manga had not reached its conclusion.
- Reason for interest: The intense action and horror scenes set against the backdrop of a zombie apocalypse continued to be a draw for fans eager to see more of the story.
7. The Devil is a Part-Timer! (Hataraku Maou-sama!)

For me, it's impossible to define which of the next four is my favorite, so I decided to order them according to the date of their last broadcast:
4. Made in Abyss
- Last Season: 2017 (Temporada 1)
- Summary: Two children, Riko and Reg, descend into a mysterious abyss filled with strange creatures in search of Riko's mother, while facing deadly dangers.
- Reason for waiting: The wait was long due to the complexity of the production and the time required to create such detailed animation. Furthermore, the darker, more mature plot and the wait for additional material delayed a sequel.
- Reason for interest: The unique atmosphere, the exploration of the abyss and its mysteries, along with the dark twists and turns of the story, keep fans eager to find out what will happen next.
3. Black Bullet
- Last Season: 2014
- Summary: In a post-apocalyptic world, humans struggle to survive against parasitic monsters. A young boy named Rentaro and his partner Enju must protect thehumanidad con sus habilidades especiales.
- Reason for waiting: The lack of additional material to continue the story and the series' declining popularity prevented a new season from being produced. The manga did not progress.rápidamente.
- Reason for interest: The survival plot in a dystopian world and the focus on exciting battles kept fans waiting for the sequel.
2. Deadman Wonderland

So far, none of these have announced a new release date, but it's worth dreaming about the day we can enjoy each of them.
